Bill Parser is an internal QuickBooks Online integration operated by Carrits Real Estate, LLC. It is not a publicly distributed application and is not available for third-party sign-up.
Bill Parser is a command-line application that lets authorized Carrits Real Estate, LLC personnel review and operate on the company’s own QuickBooks Online data through assistant-driven workflows. It runs locally on operator workstations and connects to a single QuickBooks Online company. Internally, Bill Parser ships as a CLI named qbo-mcp, which embeds a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that brokers calls to the QuickBooks Online API.
Bill Parser is a command-line application installed locally; there is no hosted launch surface. Authorized operators connect or reconnect the application to QuickBooks Online by running the following from a terminal on their own workstation:
qbo-mcp auth login
To disconnect, the operator runs:
qbo-mcp auth logout
Disconnection can also be performed from within QuickBooks Online by removing the connected app under Apps → My apps.
Bill Parser is implemented as a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, which allows an authorized operator to register it with a local AI assistant (for example, Claude Desktop). Once registered, the operator can ask the assistant to invoke Bill Parser’s tools to inspect or update data in Carrits Real Estate, LLC’s QuickBooks Online company; tool invocations occur at the operator’s direction.
To register Bill Parser, the operator adds an entry like the following to the assistant’s MCP server configuration, replacing the directory value with the absolute path to the local Bill Parser checkout:

Day-to-day bill parsing is performed through customized skills that the operator activates inside the AI assistant (for example, Claude Cowork). These skills compose Bill Parser’s MCP tools into procedures tailored to specific bill-handling tasks, so the operator works through a guided experience rather than composing tool calls by hand.
